For development, extension and strengthening the regional activities of the organization. The grant is not a single project grant; it is aimed at promoting organization’s regional role as facilitator of artistic and cultural exchange, as a stakeholder and as a knowledge-transmitter in the field of arts and culture. The followings activities will be carried out within this grant: at least 3 practicing contemporary art curators and/or critics, one from each South Caucasian country will visit each of the 3 capitals together to conduct seminars on issues, problems and ideas concerning organization and presentation of avant-garde art of their respective countries with the aim to stimulate interaction, exchange of ideas, and debate between specialists and artists of the region. They will also conduct studio visits for selection of artworks for a three-way group exhibition of avant-garde artists to be held in Yerevan, Tbilisi and Baku within the frames of the grant. A post-exhibition catalogue with circulation of 500 copies, containing the presentations, conclusions of the seminars and outcomes of the exhibitions will be published. A joint exhibition of avant-garde art from Armenia, Greece and Iran on the theme of “Encounter of Contemporary Artists of Ancient Civilizations” is to be organized in Yerevan, Tehran and Athens. During the period of this grant booklets, bulletins and other publications containing information about organization and the Regional Development Grant will be published and distributed with fund-raising purposes

For creating an on-line Cultural Portal/Forum on the base of “Arvest” on-line magazine focusing on cultural policy issues. The goal of the project is to facilitate involvement of the cultural third sector in elaboration and implementation of efficient cultural policy through providing expertise and open discussion of cultural legislation. The project includes activities in two directions: 1. Assessment and public debates over the law “Basic Principles of Legislation on Culture" and the draft law “On State Support to Film Production Industry” and conduction of two round tables; 2. Creation of Cultural Portal/Forum covering permanent news and analytical updates on cultural issues, cultural policy documentation (legislation, reports, recommendations, best international practices in cultural policy, etc.), database of important state, private and nongovernmental cultural institutions, information about OSI-funded and other projects and initiatives in the field of arts and culture. Five best artworks from each school will be submitted to www.colours.am using the tool. The artworks will be placed in rating module and will be available for rating for a 7-day period. For strengthening the institutional capacity of Art Resource Center established within “NorEon” Creative Center in cooperation with “Sagarel” Art Gallery. During the project 8 solo and group exhibitions will be organized and booklets and PowerPoint presentations of those exhibitions will be prepared for the participating artists and organizations. 12 newsletters, each in 200 copies, containing announcements on international art events, as well as the terms and conditions of participation and deadlines will be prepared and distributed among about 200 Armenian artists during the project period.
